The power of Web 2.0
Social Media will soon take over traditional marketing. It probably has already... Platforms where the user has control and can input their oppinions or other data inmediatly and by themselves are massively expanding. And even more, they are usually FREE!
Here are some examples:
- Blogger - A three-step blog platform that allows you to easily have your own up-to-date website posting and interacting with people; by Google
- Facebook - This platform allows you to share photos, links and videos with anyone you like, keeping connected.
- MySpace - Allows you to create your own space with pictures, videos and music to keep connected with friends; by Microsoft
- SecondLife - User-built Virtual world where you can do anything you can imagine and find your own experiences and opportunities; by Linden Lab
- Twitter - This service allows you to rapidly communicate and stay connected exchanging short quick messages with co-workers and friends (see panel beside)
- WordPress - Well-known blog type of publishing platform that cares about usability for users while creating a nice environment.
There are lots more, you just need to see which ones will be best for you!
